Sky Green has been performing music in Orange County and San Diego for the past 15 years while writing and releasing her original music. She has also been teaching guitar and voice out of her
San Clemente studio for the past 9 years and has loved sharing the art of music with her students!
Sky began singing and performing at a very young age. At 14 years old she began playing guitar and studying music. Within 6 months she started her own rock band and began gigging in restaurants and music venues in Orange County and San Diego County. Sky and her band made it in the finals of the Newport Beach Battle of the Bands. After releasing her first album, Sky was interviewed on the television show “Orange County’s Got Talent” and performed the single from the album, “The Country Girls”.
After high school, Sky attended the Musicians Institute in Hollywood to further her education in guitar, voice, and performance. She graduated from MI with in 2009 and has been enjoying gigging and recording her original songs. She then released her second CD “A Never Ending Story” with her band All The Abused. Her song “I Don’t Care” won sixth place in The Sandra James International Songwriting Contest.
After graduating from Musicians Institute, she started teaching guitar and voice in Orange County as well as continuing to perform solo and in bands in local venues and restaurants.
Sky then went on to work with musician Marc Seal on his TV show "The Ultimate Guitar Show". Sky was known as "Gear Girl" on the show, and introduced the newest and best equipment for guitarists.
Sky followed her passion for music by working on Carnival Cruise Lines as a soloist performer. She started with Carnival Cruise Lines in 2013, where she did a 6 month contract aboard the Carnival Sunshine traveling down the coast of Europe. She continued to travel the world aboard several Carnival ships while playing the music she loves.
A cruise critic, HoganUK, mentioned Sky in a review of the Carnival Sunshine, saying that "Sky was his personal favorite (musician onboard the ship)"
Sky released her solo album "Reach High" in 2015 and it is available for purchase on her website and posted on youtube and social media sites. The single from the album "Reach High" has already had several features on radio stations KSBR 88.5FM and KX 93.5.

In 2016, Sky was hired by the largest guitar company in Brazil, Tagima Guitars, to be the face of their company as Brand Ambassador in the USA. She introduced Tagima's new line of USA guitars and the videos were featured on Tagima's website as well as social media. Sky is currently sponsored by Tagima Guitars, Vonax Guitars, and Shreddies Guitar Gloves.
She began her own wedding music business in 2017 called Sky Green Music Weddings. She offers several different customized packages to help couples find the perfect music for their wedding day.
